I am very clever!

Today I have learnt how to clap! Mummy says I am clever!

My first tooth is nearly through. I hope it will hurry up as my gums are a bit sore!

Hello! I've been a bit busy lately! Anyway today I am 6 months old and that means I'm half way to being 1!!!! How very exciting!

On Sunday I had my very first roast dinner which was very yummy. I'm already looking forward to another one this weekend!

My daddy's gone away again :( Only for 2 days though. I miss him lots when he goes away. i have fun with Mummy and jess but it's not the same...

Mummy gave me some avocado today. Some of it was mashed up in a bowl but she also gave me some to hold and eat myself. I think I got the hang of it in the end!

One of my mum's friends has just started her own web forum at http://born2dribble.informe.com/. Mummy says it is very good and it is nice because there are lots of other mummies on there and they can share ideas and help each other and things. Some of the babies are very cute!

Somebody needs to start a forum for babies. I was watching Jess play Sims yesterday and the computer looks really easy to use!

Big grown up girl :-)

This week I have been drinking out of a big girl cup. I decided I didn't like my cup with a spout so mummy tried me with one of Jess's plastic cups. It's lovely! Mummy has to help me but I like it much more than my other cup. Sometimes I spill it over me but it's actually quite nice and cooling!

It's been very hot this week so mummy's been putting some nice cream on me. It smells very nice and it feels very relaxing when she rubs it in! I've also been wearing my hat though sometimes it's nice to take it off and eat it!

Yesterday I was just finishing my 6 o'clock bottle when I decided to do a bit of a poo. Whilst mummy was winding me she felt a sticky sensation - yes my nappy had leaked all over her arm and her jeans! She didn't seem very pleased!

So we trooped off for a bath. Mummy stripped me off and cleaned me up and left me starkers on the changing mat whilst she ran my bath. Jess came into the bathroom and decided to pick me up.

"Careful" mummy said - "looks like she's done a wee" as the mat was a bit wet.

Well it seemed a shame to stop. Jess got a good soaking too!

Mummy said I scored a hat-trick when I puked over daddy a bit later...

...but I wasn't wearing a hat...

More visiting...

I did sing a bit at night but Jess was talking in her sleep and daddy was snoring too!

It was lovely to meet my cousins again and to meet some new ones. On Friday I saw mummy's brother's children who are quite big. They have a funny dog who has a cool name - Millie!Then on Saturday we went to see Mollie and Grace. I tried hard to eat Grace's toes! She is older than me but she's quite little. Mind you I eat like a horse so it's not surprising I'm a big girl!
